Learning to See

Photography isn’t just about shutter speeds or apertures—it’s about learning to see the world with new eyes. It’s slowing down long enough to notice the way light spills across a quiet street, how a shadow can tell its own story, or how a fleeting expression can hold more truth than words ever could.

When I first picked up a camera, I didn’t realize I was beginning a lifelong journey. A journey of trial and error, of missed shots and magic ones, of discovering that beauty lives in both the grand landscapes and the smallest details. Photography taught me patience, courage, and the art of paying attention.

This series, Photography 101, is an open door for anyone who’s ever held a camera and wondered, “Where do I begin?” Together, we’ll explore the basics—light, composition, editing—and learn how to use them not as rules, but as tools for storytelling. Because the heart of photography isn’t perfection—it’s connection.

So follow along, and let’s walk this path together. May it spark your creativity, help you capture the world more beautifully, and remind you that your perspective—your way of seeing—is worth sharing.
